FROM COVID or WITH COVID? Can Excess Deaths Help to Answer the Question?

Frustrated by the repetition of the phrase "FROM COVID or WITH COVID?", I performed a regression analysis relying on excess death counts instead of the reported COVID-19 death counts. The result doesn't rule out all WITH COVID, but does show statistically significant correlation between higher vaccination rates and lower excess death rates.

FACTORS LEADING TO COVID-19 MORTALITY - 2021

Curious to know how the vaccines changed the picture, I ran the numbers again in 2021.  Some of the findings:

• Vaccines didn't appear to provide the big boost I thought they would!?
  
• Being uninsured or poor now is a significant liability!?
  
• Black and brown people continue to be hit harder!?
  
• And obesity appears so insignificant it might even be beneficial!?

Irritated by seemed misinformation shared by @joerogan and others, I decided to investigate some of the numbers.  Some of the findings:

• Lockdowns and mask mandates didn't work!?
• But deaths undercounted, especially in red states!?
• And twice as many Trump voters died!?
• And obesity insignificant factor!?
